The team is picked from the company's own pool.

VELKERN works in six development disciplines. Each one covers a set of tasks and a stack of technologies.

Backend in Python, Node.js, Java and Go

The server side of the product: APIs, data processing, integrations with outside services, background jobs and database work. Django, FastAPI, NestJS, Express, Spring, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB and Redis.

Frontend in React, Vue and HTML/CSS

The interface in the browser: screens, forms and states, and responsive layout for different screen sizes. Next.js, Nuxt, TypeScript, Tailwind, Vite and Webpack.

Mobile for iOS, Android or both

Mobile applications, native for iOS and Android, or one codebase for both platforms. Swift, Kotlin, Flutter and React Native.

QA, manual and automated testing

Checking the result: test scenarios, manual and automated defect detection, regression before release. Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, Postman, k6 and JMeter.

DevOps for CI/CD, cloud and operations

Build, release and operations: environments, CI/CD, monitoring, cloud infrastructure. Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub Actions, AWS, GCP, Azure, Terraform and Grafana.

UI/UX for interfaces and design systems

Design before code: user flows, prototypes, screen layouts and a design system. The tool is Figma.

Selection and task allocation stay inside the company.

VELKERN puts the project team together from its own pool of contractors. The work is run by the manager assigned to the project.
